UPDATED NOVEMBER 2011

NEW PROJECTS –

1)   SINGING FOR SWAZILAND2011 / 2012
Jane has been asked to make a CD at various times so instead of going away on a mission trip this winter she decided to put her saved up flight money into going into the recording studio! She is recording a CD of mixed background uplifting songs , assisted by family and friends. The bulk of proceeds will go towards SWAZILAND projects plus a percentage to the Charity Rural Ministries. The CD is being prepared and will hopefully be available in February 2012.

INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING JANES MUSICAL FUNDRAISER? PLEASE EMAIL – thehomesteadtrust@gmail.com with your details.

2) NURSE TRAINING FOR NOKHUTULA
In order to continue to provide ongoing medical care for the children and community we were thrilled to have arranged a place for Nokhtula, one of the house mothers , to be trained in South Africa. Out of 18 people who went for the three day interview only six were accepted and she was one of the best! The course began in January 2010 and completed in December 2010 .

Progress
In order for Nokhutlua to be trained it was neccesary to have a guarantor and The Homestead Trust made this guarantee. With generous donations from a few pounds to
one very generous couple offering to pay £1000 and an anonymous donation of £1200 all of Nokutula's fees and expenses of £3000+ were covered.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GENEROUS GIVING!!

WE WOULD LOVE TO SPONSOR OTHER SWAZI'S WHO LONG TO BE TRAINED . COULD YOU COULD HELP???

3) ) SWAZILANDTEAMS -  We last led a team to Swaziland from the UK in November 2010. FUTURE VISITS ARE PLANNED – INTERESTED?
