Mission to India – 27th October  to 8th November, 2014

On 27th October Val Foster, Ann Edmunds from Links International and I have the privilege of travelling to India where we will have the opportunity to minister through health teaching and practical, hands on ministry.
Itinerary-
27th Oct fly to Hyderebad where we will then take an internal flight to villages nr Rajamundri.
We will then give some health care training to people that have been invited to learn and disseminate the information to their communities. We are looking at teaching in 2 separate villages.
These areas are extremely poor and lack basic knowledge. Through teaching and practical workshops we will give people the tools to care for themselves and improve their quality of life.

Our teaching will include basic first aid, hygiene and preventing infection, Seminars will include teaching on midwifery and the care of the newborn and responding to any teaching that the people will ask for.

We will have opportunity to worship with the people in their churches and to convey the biblical principles to health and Christian living within the seminars.

3rd to 8th November-
For the second week we will fly to Mumbai where we will be working with Sister Cristabel and the Mothers Theresa’s Roses who’s ministry it is to minister to those living rough on the streets, to bathe them, to clothe them and to pray with them and offer practical help.

We are there to minister the love of God to any one that God chooses to cross our path with and are open to His guidance as we seek to serve God through our small offerings.

Due to the restrictions on our hand luggage we cannot take a lot with us ( the internal flights allow 15k) therefore we will take money and buy gifts there in India and bless our hosts.
Thank you for your support in prayer and finance!  We so appreciate your generosity.
